Low – generally safe avalanche conditions
High – very dangerous avalanche conditions. Natural avalanches are likely, human triggered avalanches are very likely.
Considerable – dangerous avalanche conditions. Natural avalanches are possible, human triggered avalanches are likely.
Moderate – heightened avalanche conditions on specific terrain features. Natural avalanches are unlikely, human triggered avalanches are possible.
