This Avalanche Level 1 course provides a systematic approach to backcountry travel, from pre-trip planning to recognition of avalanche terrain to communication within groups. Course is held in Jackson, Wyoming. Students receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Three-day and two-day options available.
